The PvP Countdown Has Begun! [Rules for Battling]

Countdown to PvP

The countdown has begun. We have less than two weeks before the PvP functions are released. The dev team is living on coffee and whatever they can wolf down quickly while they check and recheck their work. Now we enter a testing period to find any obvious bugs. We want this launch to delight you so we’re going to do it right. It’s getting real now.

PvP - You Always Hurt the One You Love

With PvP barreling ahead, let’s take a look at some of the features we can expect to see. Many of you will find this info comfortingly familiar but we won’t assume everyone is familiar with these rules.

To start, you’ll field 3 Starz against your opponent’s 3 Starz. You and your opponent battle 1-to-1, so there will be three battles. Whoever wins two or three out of these three battles wins.

Since each Starz has an element: Fire, Water, Grass, Rock or Toxic, you’ll see that how they match against each other determines will make a difference in a battle. A Water element Starz gets a +1 advantage when playing against a Fire element Starz.

Attacking

The Starz with the higher attack speed attacks first, and the attacking Starz will be shown with a red rim before crashing into its opponent. The attack damage is shown after the crash.

Example: Not from StarCrazy

Normal attacks and crit will be shown with a number with a ‘miss’ sign for a miss.

Crit and dodge result in the NFT card moving sideways, then returning to its original position.

When a Starz is battling its Attack, HP, and Element will be displayed.

But in keeping with how fortunes change for the better or worse in battle, the Attack and HP attribute may change in battle. The number of an attribute will turn green if it increases or red if it decreases.

We could keep going with these rules… but for today we’ll keep you a little hungry.

Syrup Pool Distribution for February

Just look at those numbers. Pretty sweet, huh? Do a little quick math calculation and you’ll see that the players receive 50% more than the combined amounts that go towards game development AND the amount that gets burned. And remember, the GFT that get burned also benefits players by reducing the total supply and thereby increases the value of the remaining supply of GFT. (some national economies might look to us as role models)

We’re so happy to  be able to provide this consistent way for players to earn money and support the economic health of the StarCrazy ecosystem.

This month's GFS $yrup Pool

Maybe the moral of this story is, we should all be staking the GFS Syrup Pool. Then we'll get a slice of these tasty rewards.
