Me and Starcrazy Part 2

3 Starz as the Interview Subjects!

You definitely know the secrets from the top players in Starcrazy from the first interview article, don’t you? This time, we are going to delve into some big Starcrazy fans and supporters to learn why they are such a sucker for this game.

CryptoFridge(Twitter Handle: @CryptoFridge, one of our fusing workshop hosts; you can check out his twitter where you can find many SSR and UR Starz!!!!)

CryptoFridge, a middle aged Nigerian StarCrazy player, is an electrical engineer as well as a project Manager with five years of work experience in the Operations sector.

He also runs a community filled with Cryptocurrency enthusiasts, where alphas and Degen plays are often shared.

Fascinated by the tokenomics and gameplay, this Nigerian StarCrazy lover has been playing the game since it launched.

How did  you start to be interested in the metaverse and playto2earn games?

CryptoFridge: I started out interested in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency in the year 2017, got burnt by losing most of my assets in the aftermath of the bear market that started in 2018. I have always followed the development of trends in the cryptocurrency space, so immediately the metaverse and play2earn games became a thing in the year 2020, I developed an interest and started researching various projects. My first NFT interaction was in Cryptokitties.

How did you get introduced to StarCrazy?

CryptoFridge: Well, while surfing the play2earn space, I came across StarCrazy in 2021. It looked pretty similar to Axie-infinity so i picked up an interest in the game.

Can you talk about your strategy in the game?

CryptoFridge: Actually, my strategy is simple. I purchase N starz, fuse them to SR, if lucky SSR and then I use the staz to mine GFT. I then use the mined GFT to purchase more N starz for fusing...pretty straight forward process. I also participate in the PvP and PvE Seasons, I usually finish within the top 60...lots of strong players there, lol, but I am happy with my levels and earnings. I also look forward to future features like skill books, potions etc.

What would you recommend for newcomers to the game?

CryptoFridge: I would recommend that they take out time to learn about the game first by reading previous articles by the StarCrazy team. Also, they need to check out the tokenomics of StarCrazy...they should be bullish on this one. Finally, I would recommend for them to fuse, fuse, fuse!

What is your favorite part of the game?

CryptoFridge: Fusing, it's always fun to fuse, the anxiety, tension and uncertainty is a lot of fun in itself.

What do you think about the future of StarCrazy?

CryptoFridge:: Great game, bright future. Team just needs to keep executing, meeting deadlines and hitting milestones...the Star'z is not the limit (hahaha, pun intended) and I will be here to support and cheer the team all the way to victory..hurray!

Jeff is a Canadian living in Tokyo, Japan, as a father of a 9-year-old boy. He first became interested in crypto in 2017, still believing crypto is in its infant stages.

How did  you start to be interested in the metaverse and playto2earn games?

Jeff: Actually, I wasn’t very interested in Play-to-Earn games when I first got interested in crypto. However, I’m a huge IoTeX fan, and I wanted to support some of the projects that were coming onboard. I thought that StarCrazy sounded interesting. I follow the IoTeX Community webpage quite closely, always looking to be one of the first investors in a new IoTeX project. When Raullen Chai mentioned positive things about StarCrazy, I decided to support it.

How did you get introduced to StarCrazy?

Jeff: There were two specific references. As I mentioned above, I first read about StarCrazy on the IoTeX Community webpage. Then, I remember hearing more about StarCrazy in the IoTeX Telegram page. When StarCrazy opened a Telegram chat room, I joined. I was one of the first 100 members to join, if I remember correctly. Ultimately, however, I was introduced to StarCrazy through the IoTeX team.

Can you talk about your strategy in the game?

Jeff: Actually, I’m not an “active player” like most players here. I’m more of a passive player. I bought many Starz with high DigP when the game started, to mine. I chose to let the “experts” fuse, then I purchased their cards. I felt this killed two birds with one stone—I supported the fusers (so that they could continually earn rewards by fusing) while helping myself earn higher rewards (through mining). Also, I am a LP (liquidity provider). Actually, this produces most of my rewards. Also, I bought a planet (or two). So, I’m more of a “behind-the-scenes” participant.

What would you recommend for newcomers to the game?

Jeff: I would start in the auction. Spend some time, and, with the right timing, you can buy some cards with potential. Then, learn to fuse. There is lots of help in this great community (workshops, videos, chats, etc.) to learn how to fuse. Once you have some more powerful cards, battle in the PVE! You get two FREE battles a day and the rewards look promising. And, I think there is still a lot of room to be a top player in PVE, even if you are just beginning. Also, the PVE rewards might be quite valuable. We’re still waiting to realize their value. Great time to get your team together! And, also, you can mine at the same time! You can earn by mining and at the same time, with the same cards, you can battle in the PVE.

What is your favorite part of the game?

Jeff: I enjoy looking forward to every Tuesday when the (active) developers give an update to the game. Of course, the update is not always “life-changing”… lol, but, to me, it exhibits that the developers are always hard at work developing the game—and listening to the players.

What do you think about the future of StarCrazy?

Jeff: It’s a difficult time in the Web 3 space right now. However, this means that it might be an ideal time to start. If you are a new player, you’ll likely be getting into the game at a lower cost than the veterans. This is the way markets work. The Star Crazy community welcomes new players. Although it’s an ultra-competitive game, we’re all a team in the end. We can all help each other to make Star Crazy a major player in the (upcoming) Web 3 space, I think.

Melly (A Starcrazy ambassador) is from Turkey as a certified translator and also a teacher at a high school. She is very happy to have this interview to share her thoughts with you:)

How did  you start to be interested in the metaverse and playto2earn games?

Melly: Actually, I have always been interested in playing games. I was one of the dedicated players of World of Warcraft. When I started teaching, I got introduced to Web 2.0 tools. In the following years, I started to hear about Web3, which is beyond my imagination. While my husband and I were searching for crypto markets, we came across play-to-earn games. It seemed to be a great opportunity to enjoy and make investment at the same time.

How did you get introduced to StarCrazy?

Melly: We had already been in IoTeX Ecosystem when we met StarCrazy. We started with Travel Cat of Game Fantasy Company. It was pretty fun. I remember the beta version of StarCrazy launched. We had great fight to purchase the Starz in official auction. LOL It was amazingly competitive. Besides, Airdrip was also appealing. Starmine and LP Mining drew my attention, as well. This is how I met StarCrazy.

Can you talk about your strategy in the game?

Melly: When I first started the game, I was checking common body parts. The more in common body parts the Starz have with each other, the better results I get. Moreover, as long as you fuse the Starz, they become cross-bred and the possibility of a higher rank card increases. I also take into consideration the eight crystal balls below the NFT card.

What would you recommend for newcomers to the game?

Melly: StarCrazy is a long-term project, which evolves. So, newcomers should understand the game mechanics first. Reading the White paper is a good start. I recommend them to develop a strong team during this bear market  because the game has various features like PvP, PvE and Apex Arena. They can take advantage of Syrup Pool and LP Mining as well as Starmine. Staking is a great way to invest.

What is your favorite part of the game?

Melly: My favorite part of the game is the excitement when fusing. LOL. Because you may be surprised at the results. A few months ago, I fused two N cards and I obtained a SR card! How amazing! I can call it a definite ROI.

What do you think about the future of StarCrazy?

Melly: With the developments in the Metaverse and Web3, I think the game will evolve. I hope new players join us and we can make it together.

We really would like to thank all the three interviewees above for taking this interview to share their passion and love for Starcrazy with us!!!
