StarCrazy Breaks Through 1000+ Daily Active Players Mark. High Player Growth Ahead!

It's Heating up in StarMania!

First things first! We broke though 1000 active players, hitting as much as 1200+ daily active players over the last week multiple times.

Here is Why:
The hottest new NFT game in town, StarCrazy, will burn 20% of its GFT proceeds and remove these tokens from circulation. Sounds crazy, right? Who burns money anyway? Burning of tokens is actually a type of deflationary mechanism designed to keep tokens stable and sustainable. But that’s not all. Burning of tokens also makes tokens more valuable in the long run. The more tokens are burned and removed from circulation, the more valuable they become. Still doesn’t make sense?

Why Deflation is Good for your Tokens

Essentially, your tokens will be worth more when there are fewer of them. Deflation progressively reduces the supply of tokens over time by burning a percentage of available tokens. The reduced supply impacts the power of demand, making them more valuable.

In StarCrazy, there is a total supply of 30 million GFS and GFT each. Therefore, as more players enter StarMania and begin to purchase Starz, more GFT will be burned. When this happens, your Starz will be more valuable!

Burning GFTs in StarCrazy

Let's say Ninga was listed on the Players Market for 10GFT. Kevin wanted to own Ninga, so he paid 10GFT to add it to his collection. 7% of every transaction in the Players Market goes back into the ecosystem and to other players. Allowing all the players to benefit at every step.

Let's dive in:

💥The seller received 9.3GFT for selling Ninga. Great rate. Now we have 0.7GFT (7%) to divide into the community.

💥20% (0.14 GFT) goes directly to development and maintenance of the game. Because we want it to be amazing!

💥20% (0.14 GFT) is burned and removed from total supply circulation. That means the GFT token is deflationary. Less of it will be available with every transaction, increasing its value.

💥30% (0.21 GFT) will be accumulated and distributed as Play to Earn rewards through various in-game activities. Players earn it directly through participation, including Battles, Tournaments and other gameplay dynamics

💥30% (0.21 GFT) will be put into the GFS Syrup Pool, which is the pool of fees that is mined by anyone staking GFS.

In the case where a player is buying a Starz from the game’s Official Market, the percentage of tokens burned is still 20% (2 GFT) of the total 10 GFT paid.

How Are Tokens Burned?

Imagine an indestructible piggy bank with a slot that allows coins to go in but not out. The coins you put in that piggy bank cannot ever be used to buy or sell anything. The tokens “burned” are actually tokens sent to a wallet without any private key, making those tokens impossible to access and, therefore, out of the picture. Assuming the demand stays constant or increases, the ‘competition’ for the remaining tokens forces the price, or value, to increase.

What Other Cryptocurrencies Use a Deflationary Economic Model?

The most notable cryptocurrency that burns tokens is Ethereum. As of today, Ethereum has burned over $1 billion worth of tokens. Other cryptocurrencies using deflationary economic models include Binance, Solana, Ripple, PancakeSwap, Litecoin, Polygon, and more.

StarCrazy has been very intentional in designing a system of rules for sales and other transactions in StarCrazy. (the tokenomics) We prioritize the player earning tokens even if it means the game and developers earn less. That is the fair way to treat players who will make StarCrazy successful.
